The members came together originally in 2015 by each member being independently contracted to play in musical productions throughout Southern Illinois.
After playing together for a number of shows, it became clear that this group had a special chemistry and “The Squadfathers” were born.
From that point, many styles were played, but none so prevalent than the 60’s surf sound.
For many, the “Surf” sound has been experienced through the well-groomed recordings of that era.  However,  the Squadfathers bring a sharp vibrance of this music to life with a sound that is guaranteed to leave you with a fresh perspective.
